Iran Plans New Nuclear Site

Iran’s nuclear chief sent a strong and forcible message today that is seen by many experts as a defiant retaliation for newly placed sanctions on the Middle Eastern country just a few days ago.

Ali Akbar Salehi was quoted by the IRNA new agency as saying that by March 2011 Iran will begin construction of a new nuclear site.

The Iranian government has already approved plans for ten new enrichment sites that it claims are for energy and peaceful purposes only but the US and other nations fear Iran’s nuclear expansion is driven by the quest for nuclear weapons, a charge that the country of Iran has repeatedly denied.
