A California company has discovered E.Coli in some of their ground beef, after discovering sickness in seven people.The United States Department of Agriculture stated that valley meat co. sold potentially contaminated ground beef to Arizona, Texas, Oregon , California, and international countries.
The company said the ground beef was sold in Freezers at grocery stores. They are working with grocery stores to remove those beef patties. The process of the ground beef was made between Oct. 2, 2009, and Jan. 12, 2010.
Valley Meat says consumers should throw away the ground beef or return the beef for a full refund of the sale.
The California Department of Health notified the USDA of an E. coli-related illnesses in mid-July, leading to the recall.
