General Motors said that they have had an increase in U.S truck and car sales in January.The sales of their vehicles rose twenty
three percent.Analysts for the auto maker expected sales to rise ony fifteen to seventeen percent in January.General Motors was
able to make higher sales despite wild winter storms that had the country in their homes.
General Motors has had a total of thirty seven percent increase of sales since January of last year.Overall, pickup trucks did
very well as the Chevy Silverado placed second in best selling vehicle.Cadillac also had high sale increases.Cadillac sales
rose to forty nine percent.
