We had a lot of news about EA’s Battlefield 3 in the recent weeks but quite a few that put a spotlight on the upcoming blockbuster shooter title, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 who is slightly late in the release date calendar compared to Battlefield 3 which will be released 2 weeks earlier.
Despite that, MW3 still stays firm on most of the people’s mind online. We have a statistics from Google Trends that shows the report of both keyword searches in the popular search engine.
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 game has also been at the top of the chart list of Shacknews’s most anticipated video games which also featured Deus Ex: Human Revolution at no. 2 spot while Battlefield 3 grab the fourth.
While i agreed that the list does not play a major part of what the gaming community desires, it does seems to look very ‘correct’ if we take the equation on the market right now.
Surprisingly, the Japanese audience does not seem to care about both MW3 and Battlefield 3 release as last month issue of “Famitsu’s Most Wanted” revealed that Tales of Xillia on PS3 throned in a list dominated by RPG games with Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception takes the 30th spot.
Battlefield 3 is to hit the shelves on October 25 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) on November 8, both set to release on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 console.

First off, you don’t mess with success? That would hardly make success in that statement considering all the popular quarterback did was get the girls. But the kid no one knew got good grades and a good college, which lead him to real success. That’s actually pretty on point if you ask me because that’s all Call of Duty has been doing: being a brainless fool that is only successful through appealing to large groups which convinces other people “Oh my friends like it then it MUST be good”. Meanwhile Battlefield games, that smart kid that wasn’t as widely known (which isn’t even completely true because battlefield isn’t from no where, only to people like you who are completely closed minded when it comes to gaming. It’s been a popular series for quite some time and DICE is a well respected developer) has been dating girls here and there and had a normal social circle, but you know what else? He was a really smart kid so all throughout high school he’d been making use of his smarts and wow, look at that! He not only got into a great college, but now he graduated, got a job he loves, married a gorgeous woman, has a happy family, and he’s that guy everyone is friends with now because as the community all grew up they realized those same old tricks and jokes from the quarterback just get old. Maybe in high school he was impressive because he was an attractive guy but that’s all he was. Now everyone grew up and moved on, and that quarter back is sipping beers in his trailer warding TV with his slampig wife because he had no real talent. He was just an above average athlete at one time but nothing better and it’s gotten him no where. Go fuck yourself with a broken bottle Jeff and play some more call of duty while you’re at it.

1)HE is a kid below 13 years who likes fast base super soldier gameplay
2)As a frictional FPS game not a millitary FPS games
3)Cant run the physics of battlefield bad company 2 and even bf3 because of destructable environment
4)Smaller maps with some maze in it and less vehicle and unrealistic movement,buliding are all like iron cant be destructable.
5)Activision workers themselves.

@Ryan I never said i didn’t like Battlefield, because i did enjoy BFBC2. But both games have their downfalls. But, going back to my story, the high school quarterback received a division I college scholarship and later got drafted in the 8th round of the NFL draft. So he had his haters (like you) but still succeeded in making money (Activision). I hate Activision myself, but CoD 4 was a great game, WAW kinda sucked but passed the time, MW2 was the smootbhest fps i’ve ever played (based on smoothness of gameplay not lag/glitches/cheating) On that note, i found it very hard to turn and walk up a staircase in bfbc2 and aggrevating. Black ops is just a new game to pass the time. I personally sold my xbox back a few months ago and don’t really care about which is better, but i see people arguing about this every time i look on a website about gaming and it’s silly. You’re silly. Virtual Reality is silly. Good luck in the real world you’ll need it. And @Zico, i bet you’re 12.

@Hello Yea, if you think BF3 is Bad company 3, then I see why you think it hasn’t changed much. they are simply showing Rush gameplay on the links which is probably why you think nothing much has changed (to me those leaks have actually shown a lot of change). If you have played BF2 (not bad company 2) then you know what else they haven’t even shown yet is coming. you are probably not a CoD fanboy but i know that you havne’t even played enough BF or arn’t a true BF fan to know that what has been shown for BF3. They have just scratched the surface of what its going to be like.

Yes MW2 wasnt the greatest game, i still enjoyed it. But, to basically 80% of the people that have replied, IW made possible the greatest game ever in my eyes COD4, then MW2 was so hyped, it wasnt what everyone expected. Now, IW have made awesome game, a decent one. Hopefully they can take it to the next level.

To be Honest black ops is better then battle field bad company 2 I bought that game just to see what was with all these awesome comments about it.. And to be honest it’s not all that good it’s slow paced, you can’t even lay down, the turning around sucks, it’s not smooth, knifing is stupid, and the running? Terrible! I personally wanna play bf3 to see If they fix all that bullshit but in reality mw3 will be the more popular game..
