If you’re wondering who is responsible to provide Sony with their Vita CPU, then you might be surprise with it. Samsung.
It’s quite strange to see Samsung, where their electronic products are topping in the line from television, smartphones is manufacturing the PlayStation Vita’s very own Quad-Core Cortex-A9 processor CPU. For the note, iPhone and 3DS is powered by ARM CPU where they’re also responsible to most of the smartphones that has been recently hit the market.
Before this, Sony has been developing their own CPU to the previous PSP console with the processor called as Sony CXD2962GG CPU which is based on MIPS R4000 32-bit Core.
