Guess what, the heavily crazed MMO is making it’s way to iOS devices.
Gravity Interactive the one who is responsible publishing the games has announced that Ragnarok Online is coming to the likes of iPhones, iPads on August 5 — but wait, you might have to go without the important aspect of the game. That’s right, called as Ragnarok Violet, Gravity has axed the “Online” feature from the title — and as you guess it right, players won’t see the online functionality — altogether.
The decision to removed the online feature in their iOS version of RO seen as a strange move by Gravity who obviously does not want to capitalize on their userbase reported to be 50 million of players worldwide.
Ragnarok Violet kicks off with player starting in the capital city of Prontera, fighting monsters and gain levels in attempt to defeat the game’s bosses. Similar scenario can be seen in the game with the items, monsters, maps in comparison with it’s big brother, the classic Ragnarok Online.
The game also features a number of familiar proven systems from the online title: item enchanting, pets, card collecting, costumes and world exploration. Yep, you might as well hang out in Payon not with your online friends, of course.
Now, it does sounds like a good, decent action RPG, but get this folks, it’s totally free on App Store. Probably the reason why it does not see an online mode like the original MMO.
