It has been widely expected, based from the speculations and reports that Apple will break it’s traditional cycle of releasing new iPad each year after it is believed that they are set to reveal iPad 3 this year.
The next generation iPad model allegedly feature a high-resolution Retina Display, and if previous reports were right the new tablet would be an “iPad Pro” model that would compliment the iPad 2 rather than completely replacing it.
Taiwan Economic News has a report published in which they claims Apple’s third-generation iPad could launch at the iPad 2′s current price points, and after that, they will discount the iPad 2 in order to clear the stock inventory of the devices.
The first iPad models from Apple were discounted by $100 each — and by as high as $300 by other third-party retailers — following the release of the iPad 2, and Taiwan Economic News later said that the anonymous industry executives claims that Apple might as well use a similar approach to clear iPad 2 inventory once the next-generation tablet, iPad 3 launches. Later on, the report also cites that iPad 3 will launch “by this Thanksgiving or next year.”
As always, take this as a pinch of salt because a speculation, is still a speculation. But, i feel really excited with the fact that we could see a duo launch of iPhone 5 and iPad 3 this year!

i love apple they just draw in all the suckers!!! only a moron would buy an apple product at full price when its just going to be discontinued within or about a year later. i bought my ipod touch 8G first gen on feb 08 after it had been out for a long while and ive had it ever since. ive never needed a better model because it does the same thing all the newer ones do! minus of course an external speaker but truthfully i wouldnt want my movies or whatever blairing aloud anyway. and so we see 4 iphones and what 10 ipods later? and 3 ipads later people still get suckered into apples gimmick. hell if thier stock wasnt obsinely overpriced and or it yielded decent dividends (which it doesnt yield any at all) id even think of buy some of that company and cash in on the suckers.

Now, people’s consumer choices aren’t up to you. I’d also like to add that the way you exaggerate is obvious and makes you like nothing but a puny 13 year old boy who’s mummy didn’t get him that iPod he wanted. Finally, I’d like to add that iPads are the cheapest tablets for their value. Apple’s upgrade cycle also never changes the price in the US (I’m Australian so it bumps down a couple hundred often). Plus you’re not spending heaps of computer reparations and security software. Enjoy your ‘alternative Apple’ product you use (although I wouldn’t be surprised if you actually do use one), believing it’s actually going to kill their portables, you sucker. Larger market, doesn’t mean less crappy apps, you know. It means more suckers, more cheapskates, more haters, and more uneducated hipsters. You’re nothing but an uneducated, insecure person who cannot afford Apple products. Get a better job or a life.
