Just few days ago, Atlus U.S.A. has said their latest title, Catherine, broke a company record in it’s 20 years of existence based on the first week of sales report, however they didn’t share an exact numbers to complement with that.
Earlier today, Atlus U.S.A. official Twitter has revealed the game sold over 200,000 copies in its first week after they published an image showing that.
Asked whether 200,000 is an actual number of sales Catherine get so far, they said; “We don’t comment on numbers. We just eat cake.”
Atlus staff are celebrating the success of the company by dishing out a Catherine-themed cake.
English version of Catherine hit the North American shelves for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on July 26, 2011.
