Square Enix has made a statement that Final Fantasy XIII-2 due for European release in “early 2012″.
A report in the company’s latest financial results, the Japanese gave a more specific launch time frame for the United States gamers which is in January 2012, suggesting Europe will get FFXIII-2 after North American release.
In the meantime, the game goes on sale in December 2011 in Japan.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 is an upcoming console role-playing (RPG) video game produced and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is being developed by Square Enix’s 1st Production Department. The game is a direct sequel to the hit 2009 role playing game Final Fantasy XIII.

just changing the story line and stages would be plenty.FFXIII was well crafted.What they need is a quick sell FFXIII – 2 , FFXIII – 3 , FFXIII – 4 and so on,with only a few months between each new release.That might require more staffing with multiple projects going at once.
