This just came in, Bioware’s Mass Effect 3 will indeed have multiplayer online mode, it’s been confirmed.
The latest edition of Xbox World 360 Magazine has a feature on the multiplayer mode in the highly anticipated upcoming threequel.
According to the report, the mode will debut at Gamescom, which kicks off from August 17 through 21, and be playable for the fans at two United Kingdom trade shows in September.

Mass Effect 3 will hit the shelves on March 6, 2012 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. There’s also a rumor that the game will headed to Wii U, but it is still unconfirmed.

Dammit Bioware it didn’t need it! You just let EA bully you into appealing to FPS gamers who won’t appreciate the story!! Give the core gamers something more than “Yeah you get to finish the story”. Sure appeal to a wider Market but don’t sell the heart of the original to do it.

I completely agree with shut up, this will not hurt the single player in any way, if the addition of multiplayer causes you to get angry or upset then you are definitely not a hardcore fan

If they’ve instituted multiplayer, it means that time and effort is being taken away from the single player. Things like this are a strictly zero-sum game.

no it wont maybe just like 5% of it but it will be fun so get so friends and stop crying play the game. And besides this is a game for people who are mature and not babes who get what they want and if they don`t the bi**h about it until they get what they want and how do you know it will take a why from single player if you won`t give is a god damn Chance.
