MW3 or Battlefield 3? A popular question often asked by the gaming community to choose which that provides much better “value for money” type of game.
First, let’s talk about the graphic capabilities that both can achieve. It has been told that Battlefield 3 can only offer as much as 720p of resolution in the game, which, as we all have known is not a full high definition mode. Compare that with a 1080p MW3, we only have a clear winner on this one.
Then, the inevitable, it has been reported that Battlefield 3 will feature a sneaky “used game” prevention, which will be called as “Online Pass system” where that is a way for developers to get money for server costs from junk buyers. That means, if you buy it second hand, you need to do something to make sure you can play the multiplayer mode, possibly, paying for it. We’ve heard from CoD publisher, Activision before on the idea of charging for to play online, and it has been clear to this point. They don’t intend on charging for Call of Duty multiplayer, even with second hand game buyers. Obviously, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will follow that tradition.
So, i guess, at this point, you have what is in your mind for the next shooter game purchase?
Battlefield 3 and MW3 will hit the stores on October 25 and November 8 respectively for major gaming platforms PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. There’s also a talk of publishing Modern Warfare 3 on Nintendo’s Wii and DS.
