If there’s only one thing in most of PS3 gamers mind right now is the fact that they are no viable custom firmware since 3.55 that could break the access of PSN, playing the latest 3.60 stricken games, as well as enjoying homebrew applications that has been served kindly by the scene.
So, what do we have right now? Nada. Most of the developers who allegedly found the exploit to jailbreak the newest CFW hasn’t been man enough to release it to the public due to a certain awareness in the form of Sony’s lawsuits.
If there’s a team who diligently working on making anything’s right now, is probably Gitbrew who reportedly in the process to alter in the exploit where they supposedly discovered several weeks back. Still, there hasn’t been much details on that although they are consistently been praised for their recent works on OtherOS++, RSX drivers etc.
Nevertheless, in the eyes of every scener, there’s a hope, and the hope is there to wait.
