If you’re fan of Mozilla Firefox and thinks that Google Chrome is stupid or any other browsers out there, then you come to the right place.
The non-profit organization has finally released a new version of the heavily popular internet browser to the market, and according to what we can see, it’s pretty impressive. There are no major user interface changes or a total revamp feature set, at least for the common user. But, after using the browser for a few minutes, you might quickly notice speed improvements of about 20% according to Mozilla themselves, as well as significantly reduced memory consumption.
Nevertheless, you need to know that there’s a little chance that this allegedly “final” build is updated before it’s officially released to the public next week, yet that’s very unlikely unless major issues are discovered. While the welcome page still says “Firefox 6 Beta”, don’t be fooled, Mozilla just hasn’t updated the page yet. Go grab it, you won’t be disappointed.

It is still a beta version we should wait until official release.

The 20% less memory consumption comes in Firefox 7, not 6. And as of today, Firefox 6 is still in beta. I’m not sure what makes you think it’s final.

My bad about 20% and you should read the last paragraph about the alleged final build.

Actually yes it is the firefox 6 final , beta 5 was said to be RC
also if you check
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/ it says on /08/13/2011 was released but there is no sign that it is a beta or an RC
