The subscription based multiplayer mode from Activision, Call of Duty Elite have undergone some testing to finalize its QA in regards to its PS3 development.
This might just be a good news for every PS3 owners out there who wants to join in the Elite crowd after it is only been rolled out for Xbox 360 platform before, although it is still in Beta too.
“PS3 players: PS3 Elite beta is currently in QA testing. When they give green light we will announce ASAP.”
“Understand frustrations, but Elite is a very complex development challenge. There is no simple “port” to PS3. Critical we do it right.” said the official Twitter account for the Call of Duty Elite.
Call of Duty Elite is a new subscription-based service for the multiplayer portion of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Black Ops. Much like Bungie.net and Battle.net, the service will feature lifetime statistics across multiple games as well as a multitude of social-networking options. It was announced initially by the Wall Street Journal and is slated to be formally showcased at E3 2011 by Activision. The beta was released on July 14, 2011 on Black Ops for Xbox 360.
