If Steve Jobs and Satoru Iwata got together and teamed up to design the 3DS — we got ourselves, what we called an i3DS, a mock-up by Major Kuro.
The Apple branding looks tacky on the top lid, but I’m sure we’re digging up the black and white scheme, and the subtle gray strip, which looks good.
Surprisingly, even after the release of 3DS, we haven’t heard about an ivory 3DS yet, considering the popularity of the Polar White DS Lite edition (seeing as it was the only color available for some time), and the swankiness of the Pure White DS Phat. The system should’ve launched with this color!
Along with this Apple design, Major Kuro created these rad renders of the 3DS with a Japanese artwork design, and a monstrous Piranha Plant popping out the 3D screen.
