What’s the best way to enjoy 3DS than a free GBA’s cult classic, Zelda: Four Swords.
Nintendo has been very generous with the free downloads lately. First, we had Excitebike delivered to their fans at a price of zero 3DS.
Then, the Japanese company confirmed they’d be giving 20 free games to 3DS ambassadors. Now, you’ll be able to get Link’s GBA multiplayer adventure next month without thinking of lurking your pockets away.
No particular release date has been set yet, but we really think that it’ll launch on the Nintendo eShop sometime in September, which is, next month.

What better way is there to enjoy your 3DS than by REFUNDING IT FOR THE VASTLY SUPERIOR VITA?
Nintendo needs to come up with new IPs and original content instead of rushing out remakes and re-releases to the marketplace. They also need to work on their eShop and scrap the 3DS as a failed project, but they’re content to half-ass everything the do lately.
“THIRD-PARTY SUPPORT? We don’t need no stinkin’ third-party support!”

Right because their list of Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Pikmin, Ice Climbers, Fire Emblem, Wii Sports, Animal Crossing, Kid Icarus, Donkey Kong, Mario Kart, Luigi’s Mansion, Pokemon, Smash Bros., Kirby, Punch Out, Mother, Game and Watch, Star Fox, F-Zero etc. just isn’t enough IP

Do you realize how moronic your being? Nintendo is Extremely popular for its exclusives that will not ever become for another platform, sure ocarina of time was released to much, but there are many different games from nintendo, don’t focus on the few remakes. The vita will fail, if not it will do poorly, when compared to the 3ds, sure the vita is better on the 3ds…… but the vita is made by sony, isnt that reason enough to skip it, remember how Sony was hacked 25 Million Entertainment Users’ Info was at Risk obviously they are clueless, what was there password 1234? anyway no matter how much better the psp was then the ds line it stilled failed next to it, because of the nintendo exclusives, and the price difference, why pay 250 when you could buy something of equal quality for 100$ cheaper?

The Nintendo 3DS ambassadors program is NOT generous! The Nintendo 3DS hadn’t even been out for 5 months, when Nintendo announced the $100 price drop! Nintendo can shove their 20 NES and GBA games up their ass, I would never spend that much money on ‘has been’ games that do not utilize the devices 3D capabilities. And another thing, I paid $350 for the device in Australia, before it was reduced to $250. Why the f*** does the device only cost $170 in America now? The Australian dollar is worth more, and shipping from Asia to Australia wouldn’t cost much more than shipping from Asia to America. The Nintendo Coins also suck, the booklets included with the games show cool things, like Mario hats, though when you logon to the Coins Store, there are shitty items, like low quality pencil cases, obviously made for 20c in China, costing about 1500 coins!

A lot of angry people here with a lot of opinions. A lot that are unsubstantiated. Complaining about free gifted items, comparing the recent success (or debatable lack of) with the PS Vita’s, even though the 3DS hasn’t even been out for long, and the Vita hasn’t even been released.
The 3DS ambassador’s program is generous, since they could very well have given you nothing. If you feel ripped off, you never should have bought it for its original price in the first place. That’s not a strike against the 3DS nor Nintendo but against the buyer.
As for the PS Vita argument vs the 3DS, honestly, we can’t say much can we? But if we had to make educated guesses, let’s face it – Sony’s going for the exact same approach as Nintendo, but more importantly they’re doing the exact same thing they did with the PSP too, which was a gamble (and at least in the West, not a good one – in Japan though, it worked). But Sony will likely release just as many remakes as Nintendo, if not more, and with less additional features/actual remaking. Not to mention they tend not to be very good at PR, so I think it’s safe to predict the Vita to follow in the PSP’s footsteps.
Not that I mind that, I like(d) my PSP (before it got broken). But it’s silly to bag the 3DS on the basis that the PS Vita is “vastly superior” (which is no longer “vastly” superior, since it’s been parred down for costs) and will be “marketed better”. Not to mention on a handheld, power isn’t everything as far as the mass market is concerned, and the 3DS already “looks good enough” (a Wii in your pocket for example).

Go ahead guys and jump in with the Vita, I’ll pray for you. This is Sony we’re talking about, after the PS and PS2 it’s been mainly downhill for them. PS3 issues, PSP GO, PS Move, selling some of their companies to keep the PS brand going, downgrading the PSP to compete sales with the DS and 3DS (bad move IMO). Don’t fall into the “I’m buying it for the graphics versus gameplay” category. Plus we’re still pretty much in the dark with the Vita ex. battery life, life of the display screen, the cost of software (I’m guessing $40-$50 a game, maybe $60 like PS3).

Can people stop reffering to the Vita as the superior console? If people weren’t prepared to pay $250 for a 3DS what makes you think $300 is more reasonable. The Vita isn’t even out yet so don’t make comparisons yet. My prediction: The 3DS will outsell the Vita like the DS outsold the PSP.
The only problem is that the original DS was too succesful and Nintendo doesn’t want to force you to buy a new console (unlike the transition of Gameboy color to Gameboy Advance).

Actually the 3DS is less likely to outsell the PSVITA, due to the fact that its 3D comes with a large list of safety warnings… and therefore parents are less likely to buy it, leaving the majority of customers to be teenagers with enough money, or Nintendo fanboys… Another of Nintendo’s problems is that the majority of games they have on their handheld mainly consists of games aimed at kids. Now I’m nots saying all of them are, but games such as Resident Evil are too far and too few on the 3DS. Whereas with the PSVITA’s line-up you’ll find games such as Resistance, COD and Uncharted, all of which outperform any game that available on the 3DS or the Wii.

I like how someone mentioned the games being targeted to kids as a bad thing. Sure its bad for adults, but its good for business. Things aimed towards kids always sell more because kids have low standards, are easily tricked by marketing ploys, and have tons of their parents money to spend. Case in point, the wii. A lot of hard core gamers dont like it because its not targeted to them, but it outsold the ps3 and 360 by a crap ton because it had a broader audience with more disposable income. As for the hardware, the vita will obviously have better graphics, anyone who says we cant know that yet is an idiot. The point is the graphics dont make the system, especially when it comes to hand helds. When people are on the go, they care more about a fun game thats easy to stop and start than a visual effects master piece, proof: Games for cell phones are selling better than handheld console games, because they are cheap, fun, and convenient. Which leads me to the next point which is nintendo is releasing a lot of cheap fun games via their virtual gba and nes games. This will help them keep customers who cant always afford the new $40-$50 games. They should release more free games though as its more incentive to buy the console, but seeing as i doubt sony will do that either it probably wont hurt them in head to head sales. Finally with a $160 price tag now vs the $250 for the vita, the 3ds will sell better based on price alone. No one wants to pay that much for a hand held. The only reason people bought the 3ds was because glasses free 3d is a new tech in gaming they were willing to pay to try, and Nintendo’s long standing tradition of incredibly first party games.

I’ve just gotten into hardcore gaming, per say, but I love my 3DS with all my heart. Its 3D is awe-inspiring, it has a lot of really fun classic games in the eShop, and for my generation, which missed out on games like Starfox 64, It’s a great way to get into the iconic games of yesteryear.
