A mysterious yellow colored background appeared in one of Atlus’s official Japanese website. We all know that Persona 4 was themed with yellow, could it be that Atlus has been planning to announce the next portable version of their highly rated Persona franchise?
Persona 3 Portable was released last year and it is the re-sized version of Atlus’s similar name title in PS2 which includes some of the new features such as the female gender being introduced in the PSP version. It has been then available for download in PlayStation Network (PSN).
Now that the task of porting over the Persona 3 to PSP is complete, it makes the most sense to release another Persona title into a Portable version. But, the question is, will it be PSP or PS Vita? Or is it a completely new Persona for PS3 and Xbox 360?
Maybe we shall wait for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show to hear more about this.
Earlier this year, they have also teased in some way to their fans by showing a pink colored background that suggest the localization of Catherine to its western market and later it has been successfully released in late July where Atlus having a big earner with its PS3, Xbox 360 English title.

I could also have something to do with the upcoming Persona 4 Anime. Although it would not explain why they just gave a teaser screen, since they have already released trailers. Maybe an Air date?
I hope its Persona 5, as if I have to buy another version of another atlus game i might cry… then proceed to buy it…

What!? I say they make it for 3DS, they already announced a Persona 3DS title anyway.
