In a blog post made at the official blog of Battlefield 3, the Battleblog, DICE has revealed all the customization you need in well over 50 weapons in the upcoming game.
“A rifle in Battlefield 3 can be customized for wildly different combat roles. The carbine directly below has been equipped with a heavy barrel, bipod, and a 4X magnification combat scope. This would be ideal for a soldier who wants to engage targets at medium to long range and use suppressive fire to support his team mates.”
There’s also some explanation on some of the unlockable weapon accessories.
“The unlockable weapon accessories include an assortment of optics, suppressors, bipods, barrels, underslung grenade launchers, underslung shotguns, foregrips, flashlights, laser sights, and more.”
Battlefield 3 out in October 25 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Initially, I thought there was going to be 35 guns, which seemed like a lot to me…
But now hearing that theres over 50 guns I know for sure I will not have a life when this game comes out, and this info on weapon customization is insane…

I don’t know anyone that is such a low life and so much time that they can spend hours playing these stupid games to try and get ALL of the weapons and unlockables. These games shoud allow everyone the all of the weapons to start with.
