Fans of the Counter-Strike series didn’t have to wait that long to get a first beta hands-on on the game’s latest edition.
The media outrage of Counter Strike: Global Offensive has emerges from PAX Prime, and we get to see the trailer and also the gameplay of the latest CS title.
As reported by Eurogamer, the good people of gaming community might have to wait until October to get their hands on the CS: GO beta.
The game featuring five maps for Bomb/Defuse mode and two for Hostage Rescue. All the maps are originally based on those from Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike: Source.
Valve will host its own servers for all versions of the game, although gamers can user their own server and host it themselves. Only on Valve’s servers will players be matchmade based on skill.
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2012 on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
