We understand that Battlefield 3 fans might get themselves a grenade launcher too, but i think they really should see what Modern Warfare 3 has in store for the shooter fans, in terms of a grenade launcher.
Speaking to OXM, Robert Bowling, they guy you see so often talking about MW3 has discussed about certain weapons that would blast your screen.
“Say you’re picking guys in windows out long range in Manhattan, but then kick through a door and start clearing a building,” said Bowling.
“You can now fold down your magnifying scope and already have a close-range optic on your gun – so now you’re engaging guys close-target without having to change weapon.”
There’s also a new weapon available for the new Call of Duty, where he described it as “Punisher”. The XM25 air burst grenade launcher that is.
“It’s great for when you’re fighting in an urban environment. If a guy is behind a concrete barrier, you can laser-tag that cover point, fire over it and it will then programme the round to explode one metre past it. Anyone hiding behind it will be showered down.”

In terms of sales, no. In terms of gameplay, BF3 will always win. Great, so cod noobs are getting a more overpowered grenade launcher with small maps and no destructible enviroments. I don’t understand why IW would reveal how they never learn from their mistakes. Unless of course, they didn’t learn.

BF3: If a guy is behind a barrier, just destroy the barrier with one of the many things that will do the job, because in BF3 we don’t need the “Punisher” because we have fighter jets, bomber jets, attack helicopters (that we don’t need a kill streak for), all with be able to bring down buildings with destruction 2.0, like the Caspin Border trailer remember the big tower at the start of the video? I can’t wait to kill a wookie by using a fighter jets missiles to bring down that massive tower. Long live BF3!

BF3 will be better in turns of realisme and teamwork, while MW3 will be will be a more run and gun style game. In my humble opinion, you cant compare the two games. and just putting it out there, i do play both games and enjoy both. but you just cant compare the two games. thay are just to diffrent. just my opinion

Mw3 is for 11 year olds. Exhibit 1 : only 10 year olds think that characters with skulls and Mohawks are really cool and badass . 2- ultra unrealistic covert special ops attachments .
PS :really inconsistent timeline : black ops is in the early 70s, while most of its weapons were made prototypes in the 80s.

Seriously… Their the same type of games. It’s the people who play them, that make them seem different. Any multiplayer online game is supposed to be focused on teamwork. Do people actually work together? No.
People who play CoD, play it for the shits and the giggles.
If you want seriousness join the BF crowd.
