Final Fantasy XIII fans rejoice, there’s a new trailer along with some screenshots that has just been released and it looks pretty neat if you ask me.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 is the sequel to Final Fantasy XIII, a part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series.
It was announced at the “Square Enix 1st Production Department Premiere” event on January 18, this year and is set to be released in December 2011 in Japan and in January 2012 for the rest of the planet on PlayStation 3 (PS3) and Xbox 360. If you’re on Wii, you are out of luck.
Like the first installment, the title will be directed again by Motomu Toriyama.
Fans may also expect some new features as the game’s battle system will be evolved from Final Fantasy XIII.
Now, please enjoy the screenshots (via Famitsu) and the trailer (via IGN) below.
