Johan Andersson, Rendering Architect at DICE has confirmed about the native resolutions that Battlefield 3 will run with in Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 (PS3).
“#bf3 is 1280×704 on both PS3 and 360. removing a few lines from 720p saves good perf & memory for us” he said in his tweet.
While, the resolutions are the same for both PS3 and Xbox 360, it still remains to be seen whether the upcoming military shooter would look just the same for both HD consoles.
Previously, there is a report that Battlefield 3 will come in two discs for the Xbox 360 version of the game. The report came after the news of top Sony executive criticizing Microsoft for protecting an inferior technology.
Battlefield 3 out in October 25 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
