Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo FIFA 12 stats revealed

fifa 12 stats 300x193 Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo FIFA 12 stats revealedAny of you are still wondering about the ability stats of your favorite players, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi? Well, we got the details right here for you.

Cristiano Ronaldo known for his pace, strength, trickeries and excellent shooting skills. Last year, he breaks Pichichi record to become highest goalscorer in a single La Liga season surpassing previously held by Telmo Zarra.

Despite that, he only earned 92 points in FIFA 12 ability stats, only a point over David Villa who scored 23 overall goals for last season, while Ronaldo slotted in 53 goals.

For our another superstar, Lionel Andrés “Leo” Messi has been playing extraordinarily for Barcelona in 2010–11 season where he led the team to European Champions League glory finishing off 53 goals and assisting 24 times.

With that, EA Sports awarded the 24-year old 95 points in FIFA 12, probably the highest we can get for most of the players in the upcoming soccer game.

So, what do you think? Which player you will play the most or buy in the career mode?

    Please people… have some sense!

Ronaldo can run faster than messi, but WITHOUT the ball.. CR can shoot with more power than Messi, but has DREADFUL accuracy. Also, CR can probably shoot with more power with both legs… but messi has scored more goals with his right foot than ronaldo with his left.
CR can head better, because of height, not skill.
On everything else messi has proven to be better.
Acceleration, balance, dribbling, passing, centering, crossing, shot/goal accuracy, determination, technique, aggresiveness, teamplay, assists, ect etc etc…

So… stop complaining! And, if you disagree, check any stats and see for yourselves.

Leave FIFA 11/12 aside and become manager of a real football team. Who you rather have in your side? Messi or CR? Messi probably scores more goals because he has two of worlds best midfielders behind him whereas CR’s playing with great players but they aren’t Xavi or Iniesta. There’s no hiding of CR’s arrogance as a player which I think is his downfall but he’s exiting to watch and a great player. Messi seems to always work with the situation, no excuses/complains and get on with the job. Perhaps thats where he has an edge. Doesn’t blame the referees or makes jealousy claims, always focused on football only. And, the only thing history remembers are the stats/records which Messi continues to break.

All of u saying Ronaldo is better are just stupid. What has ronaldo done against Barcelona almost nothing except for getting on his knees as he tried to chase Messi during the SuperCup and Messi scored. Messi does not need xavi or iniesta, he scored against real Madrid in the champions league semifinal by taking half of the team from almost midfield not needing any pass from xavi or iniesta and he scored. Just hop off ronaldos dick already and realize that messi is the best hence 2 FIFA player of the year. I’m not a messi fanboy but his stats and what he does show that he’s better.

im not a messi fanboy, but he is better than CR because he uses his team more, and his agility is the best in the world… also, messi does out of this world passes… CR is good, but not as good as messi.

I’m laughing at everybody who likes to call the opposing player ‘crap’ compared to their favourable player. Cristiano Ronaldo in comparison is FASTER than Messi, off-the-ball of course. Messi’s sheer pace on-the-ball is unbelievable, incredibly agile. Messi is a fantastic, fluent finisher. BUT, if he does rely on Xavi or Iniesta in several circumstances. Now, Ronaldo. Ronaldo can take the whole team by himself, but he’s likely to fall over or shoot early. People who think Ronaldo has horrible shot accuracy are the worst observers. Of course Ronaldo has had some terrible shots, but potentially, he’s accurate, right? Ronaldo’s freekicks are pretty good dare I say. But I believe Messi has scored some too, but the power in Ronaldo’s shots can be frightening.

Here’s to sum it up, BOTH should be 93. Ronaldo at 92 and Messi at 95 is absurd. Also, Xavi and Iniesta should stay the way they are. They are beyond amazing.

    Sad fanboys.
What should Messi have higher: Balance, Ball control, Shot accuracy, Att. Position (by a couple of points, they’re both sublime, more like a 2-3 point difference), Agility is arguable because that has nothing to do with how Messi “slides through opponents” but controls traits like bicycle kicks, acrobatic clearances for defenders and acrobatic saves from keepers (ACROBATIC, get it?) and the like. I don’t remember Messi ever lifting his leg higher than his hip and that’s not a very impressive acrobatic skill, I also don’t recall him doing any flips and jumps like Nani. Messi has good ball control, balance, acceleration (his top speed isn’t exactly that amazing, it just takes him a very short time to achieve it, Walcott, Ronaldo and probably even the same Nani have a better top speed than Messi). His determination is great, which is why an idiot said earlier he should have 90+ in strength. You do realize that if he’d go shoulder to shoulder with pretty much any central defender he’d fly right into the stands. It’s just that there are no center backs as fast as him. He should also have finishing close to 99 because he’s one of the best finishers in the game, but same goes to Ronaldo, Rooney, Aguerro, Gomez, Di Natale and Klose(yes, you heard it right, the last two are players who apart from finishing, positioning and heading barely have any skills, just like Inzaghi) and add David Villa, Higuain and who are deadly in the box(Ibra and Eto’o used to be up there as well). Ronaldo crosses better, shoots harder but less accurate (maybe because unlike Messi he actually takes long shots, he is always on target when in the box), has better dribbling and technique but worse ball control, is way faster and perhaps has better heading skills (Messi isn’t guilty that he’s not very tall but I doubt his heading skills are better). Ronaldo is a set piece specialist, Messi started taking good free-kicks lately but isn’t there yet, both are good penalty takers, vision is arguable because Ronaldo plays deeper. Messi is the probably the better short passer, although again, it’s a close one. Ronaldo is the better long passer because I have never once seen Messi pass a long ball. Tackling and Marking is again arguable but I’m pretty sure Ronaldo is the better slide tackler. Ronaldo is the more agile of the two (I’ve explained this one earlier), he is stronger but goes down easier because of a worse balance (and because refs don’t protect him like they protect Messi but that won’t be in FIFA 12). Volleys would probably go to Ronaldo because he actually scored some of those, long shots isn’t even a question. Did I miss anything?

@Dun, I understand you may knw a lil’ about football….I guess. Ronaldo is right about now the greatest footballer in the world. Ok that woulda been true only if Messi were dead! Come on man!! We all got TV sets and we aint blind too. Messi has featured in matches without Iniesta and Xavi, and I feel dat story’s becoming too old. Di Maria currently tops assists in La Liga, so wat are we arguing about? Barcelona has world-class players alright, but Madrid aint lacking these kinda players. Basically, Messi has earned every accolade he has received, likewise CR but he won’t touch that lil’ rat for nothing!! Messi is the Greatest!!!

Messi is the most overrated player on the planet. I don’t think Ronaldo is better than him but they are tied. Ronaldo can take a whole team by himself and nobody can shut him down. Messi relays on Xavi and iniesta plus the great Sergio Ramos shut him down in 3 straight clasicos. In real life, it is a tie. In FIFA, Cristiano should be better because he scores more goals.
