There are rumors coming in that Captain Price will make a return in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. It may be very likely that a new stealth or sniper mission will be introduced with his return.
There’s a time where three new artworks from MW3 were unveiled to the public. One of the images we noticed on closer view, seems like Captain Price. The artwork of the swap reveals a character with a hat on and that is identical to Captain’s price trademark style of his hat.
While Infinity Ward has not yet making any confirmation or announcement about the well-known game character appearance in the game. A lot of people believe that Captain Price will make his shots in the upcoming Modern Warfare 3.

I am 100% sure that he will be back because in the gamestop posters they handed out for preordering MW3 it had a picture of Captain Price and Soap as the most wanted men. It was a faux Time magazine cover with NYC in ruins. Here is a link of the poster:
