Bethesda explains why you need Clairvoyance in Skyrim

skyrim03 300x168 Bethesda explains why you need Clairvoyance in SkyrimIf you have been wondering what does the Clairvoyance spell do in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, then let Bethesda very own VP of PR and Marketing explains it to you.

“quest target.” he said on his Twitter account, before explaining: “in the demo, the next step in the quest was to return to the quest giver, which would lead you from the dungeon.”

There’s also a proper explanation by Todd Howard where he said: “The spell creates a path to the current objective. The reason for this spell is that the dungeons can sometimes get confusing.”

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim out November 11 on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

i doubt ill use that spell much.. i am planning on using alot of magic tho.. im making a High Elf War Wizard lol… i kinda like the idea of streamlining spells & removing spell making i guess i just hope theres alot of really cool Shapeshifting, Transformation & Conjuration Spells to fool around with to make up for it.. and id like to see lycanthropy in skyrim.. and since we are dragon born we should either be able to ride dragons or shapeshift into one ourselves… martin did in oblivion.. maybe we can to!

i’ll use it, i think its a great idea.. i wish i could thank bethesda.. i mean a games a game.. they come & go and feel like games.. but not sure if its just me but Skyrim is more than a game its art to me.. All these other developers are finger fhuking this first person shooter fad for easy money, & unfortunately im to intelligent to enjoy Call of Duty style multiplayer over & over & over… its like trying to survive on peanut butter sandwiches your whole life.. After a while you’ll never want to eat one again.. i just got to good at it & lost intrest.. Winter is coming im really happy about skyrim.. im happy Bethesda still has passion for gaming.. it shows in their work Thanks Bethesda

Yea im making a magic panther khajiit.. no clothing or weapons just spending perks in magic & stealth for a Truly dangerous predator.. Claws & Magic only & i’ll use combinations of advanced magic, shouts & conjured weapons to dominate anything that threatens me without sacrificing my speed & agility Then for my warrior im not using any magic except slight restoration as needed.. spend perks on enchanting, smithing, heavy armor, & a two handed War Axe with maxed perks and dual enchantments! im using a wood elf for my Arcane Tank Warrior build.. im going to give him huge muscles & a puffy beard and try to adjust his face to look more dwarven.. im roleplaying the last dwarf.. will spice up being a warrior by being only 4 foot tall & slaying dragons & giants..

I gave clairvoyance a try. I had only one quest active and it lead me away from the quest, far across the map to a gate at Helgen. After unlocking the gate, the clairvoyance path changed to the opposite direction. After following the new path for a few meters, clairvoyance stopped showing any path. Clairvoyance could be useful if it actually worked.
