Of course, the game should definitely deliver a stunning graphic on PC with what today’s computers had to offer in this generation but when it comes to consoles, we may have our winner.
Now that Battlefield 3 is playable at Eurogamer Expo, one gamer had take some time to compare all three versions of the upcoming military shooter which includes PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (PS3).
We already knew that PC doesn’t count as a console, so we are left with Microsoft and Sony’s high definition consoles to decide which one that worth your money.
With the expensive price tags been put on today’s personal computers that can support decent graphical prowess, a lot of gamers today opt to consoles where they are more than enough to satisfy your gaming needs and not to mention a number of exclusives available.
In our curious case with Battlefield 3, we need a clear confirmation on which to look better and eventually worth our money which should been put on the title soon.
The graphical offering on PlayStation 3 is reportedly giving Xbox 360 a run of their money as the quality is very smooth, crispier and also the water effects are beautiful. Not to mention strong lighting and shadow effects.
While for Xbox 360, there have been a report of framerate stuttering on larger outdoor areas during the game. Lighting and shadows, as well as reflections, are decent but not quite as strong as the PS3.
So, we can conclude that Battlefield 3 would look much better on PS3 if consoles are your concern.
It’s not surprising though, DICE have been using the PS3 version of Battlefield 3 heavily during it’s debut. Only recently that the fans can take a look at the Xbox 360 versions.

I use to own XBOX…then I sold it a year ago and got myself a PS3…so glad I made the UPGRADE!
-the menu is better: it’s not geared towards little kids like the XBOX with that stupid avarar smiling at you all the time.
-Exclusives are better: GOD OF WAR III, Motorstorm Apocalypse, Metal Gear Solid 4, Twisted Metal, Killzone, Little Big Planet, Infamous and Resistance to name a few.
-It’s hard to play XBOX in the dark when there’s this bright ass light coming from the controller the whole time!
-Netflix is better on PS3.
-the PS3 runs completely silent, I couldn’t believe how loud the XBOX was!
I could go on, but I digress.

I really dont know why people argue over consoles. If you owned both, you would know that one console has some defects and advantages, and the other has the same. Obviously Call of Duty favors towards Microsoft and DICE/EA favor Sony so there’s your answer. They’re both great.

People are in such denial when its comes to the better console. It is a proven fact that the PS3 is more powerful system. Fact!. If your a tech expert go look up the power behind the PS3 and then compare it to the Xbox360. The only thing that keeps the argument going is the fact that the Xbox 360 has a larger community because more people own the 360 only because it been out longer as well as Sony selling the PS3 for a pricey $600.00 when it first launch. Now all of sudden 360 fan-boys want to talk about how they pay for online so they get better results when it comes to games. Well I got news for you. You fan-boys should of bought a PS3 because the 360 is pushed pass its max. Games are being released on multiple disc for the 360 now. Developers have no excuse now but to push the envelope instead of being lazy like Infinity Wards who just make games for the money and leave their fans looking stupid every time they buy a game from them. Yes Call of Duty is fun but that game can have so much more potential if they would just take another year to make it even better. They could add in more destructible environments better graphic, ect ect. But no they want to make something easy and they turn to Xbox Live community by just making a game for them every year with the same S***. Every game that has been made that took a lot of effort looks better on PS3. Final Fantasy 13 looks and runs better on PS3. Oblivion Looks and run better on PS3. Now Battlefield 3 will look and run better on the PS3. Just admit it already the PS3 is a better system forget all other things and compare graphic with graphics the PS3 comes out on top period. But wait Black Ops looks better on Xbox 360 does make the Xbox 360 better? Noooo! that just shows you how Lazy developers are when it comes to making games. They don’t want to take the time to figure out the PS3 or even try and push the PS3 to its max. They turn to the Xbox because its easy and it has a large community so in result they get paid. Just wait until the new Grand Theft Auto game comes out I guarantee it will look and Play better on PS3 because Rockstargames likes to Push the Envelope.

I have both systems and I would say I use them fairly equally with a slight bias towards my 360. I like the exclusives on PS3 and the fact that I can watch blu-rays. But when it comes to multi-platform games I think they look smoother on the 360. Yes some games require multiple discs but I have always felt like the PS3 ports of certain games look “grainier” than the 360 versions. I love going back and forth between Resistance 3 and GoW3 though. Trust me you guys are missing out if you only have one or the other.

Sorry but i own both consoles and PS3 is hands down better X-box has one or two exclusives that PS3 cant match and thats Halo and Gears and Halo is already faultering and yes paying $60 for some of the worst servers you can pay for is way overpriced i have never lagged out on my free PS3 nearly half as much as Xbox and sorry for you guys with vision problems but PS3 is better there as well and that includes COD im not even biased because i have both and its just the truth but after a year of Xbox live and i didnt even renew and now it just collects dust cause why pay for something i get thats free and better looking ohh and you can actually share a network connection on PS3 without getting disconnected every 10 min unlike 360 and ive never had the red ring of death problem with my PS3 not for 6 years but my friend has gone through tree 360s does anyone get the point yet???? and this might sound messed up but EVERYONE i have ever heard say 360 has better graphics i noticed they wore glasses so…….
