Forza Motorsport 4 is expected to be released in just a few days, and if you are still deciding on picking up Turn 10′s latest racing piece, you’ll need to be aware that they should be some free space on your Xbox 360′s HDD.
Previously in Forza 3, the game will require an install to gain access a complete disc worth of extra cars that consumes up just around 3GB of data.
Keep in mind though that the installation of the data packs is not mandatory, you can still install each of the four packs at some time as required in the game.
For your recommendation, installation of the main game for faster load times will take up another 7.6 GB, bringing your grand total to approximately 10.5 GB for the entire install.
Neither of the installs are mandatory, but for the better experience you can get out of it, having the extra HDD space or flash memory available will help in some ways.
In contrast, Gran Turismo 5 also offering optional installation onto the hard drive worth just as the same with Forza 4, around 10GB.
