There are no tools required to perform this task, so you can just follow it with ease.
- Let’s start it by opening up any application you like.
- Press and hold the power button until the slide to shutdown swipe bar appears.
- Release Power button
- Press and hold Home button Lightly until screen returns to icon screen
- Enjoy your functioning home button!
This procedure recalibrates the home button after normal wear or heavy use.
You can try it on your iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 or maybe the unreleased iPhone 4S if in any unfortunate case that Apple gives you a buggy one.
