It wasn’t pretty for the Pro Evolution Soccer franchise created by Konami but they have to admit that the battle is lost to EA’s FIFA 12 even when they had Cristiano Ronaldo on their front cover.
This has come after EA made a resounding claim that their highly coveted soccer game has outsold Konami’s by an astonishing figure, 25-1 margin in’t first weekend of “like for like” sales.
The “win” could be attributed to the revolutionary changes that the EA Sports team implemented into this year’s edition of the FIFA title.
EA has made huge strides with FIFA 12. The game previously trailed Konami’s football simulation in the past, but it appears that the tide has officially turned in the recent years.
Of course, there are still hardcore fans left in PES but let’s just see if they can come up with something new in the next generation soccer gaming. Till then, let’s give it up for FIFA 12!
