God of War 4 could be coming in 2012 according to a recent listing by a New Zealand based retailer is anything to go by. Mighty Ape recently posted a listing for God of War 4 with a 2012 release date as a guide for consumers.
The first rumor anyone knows of God of War 4 was when a Sony Santa Monica job listing surfaced that was hiring for an unannounced God of War game.
The evidence have been contradicting at this point since they were really strong on God of War 3 being the last game in the series or they could continue with releasing a fourth title of their money-making franchise.
