For those that doesn’t know of the game Bully, its an open-world game by Rockstar that was set in a boarding school. It is a beloved game by many people and all of us have been clamoring for a sequel for a long time coming now.
Gamasutra recently interviewed Dan Houser, co-founder and vice president of creative for Rockstar where he teased the possibility of a Bully sequel.
He said, “Also, contrary to a lot of people, we like to take a little bit of time at the end of a game before starting a sequel, so we can wait for the excitement or disappointment and everything else of the experience to shake down and really see what we should do in the next game.”
He also added, “So we knew that we didn’t want to start doing the Bully sequel instantly at that second with those guys — even though it is a property that, like Max, we adore and might come back to in the future. There was just no impetus to do that then.”
So Bully fans, cross your fingers that their next project will be Bully 2. He also talked about DLC for Max Payne 3 that will be as frequent like that of for Red Dead Redemption. Read the whole interview here.
