One of the most famous bishoujo RPGs of the previous decade, Aselia the Eternal features a young man from the modern era thrown into another universe. He doesn’t know the land, the language, or the culture, but he is an important being. Important enough for his sister Kaori to be taken hostage, and for him to go to war in the King’s name alongside immortal spirit warriors.
Originally released as an erotic visual novel, later editions removed the adult content (You’re not missing much, trust me). The story remains untouched, and the game itself features tons of dialog, gameplay, a huge cast of characters, nine endings, and great flexibility in how to develop your allies. Fans of works like Star Ocean where modern era heroes are thrown onto distant worlds, or games of conquest like Big Bang Age, or Sengoku Rance will also enjoy this title. It’s available to order from JAST USA’s outlet Jbox as an order or a download.

I got a hold of this years ago before JAST got a hold of it. It was worth every penny my usual importer wrung out of me. I’m not kidding when I say it has a lot of text to it, I mean it, it makes Phoenix Wright blush in comparison.
