Game Director Todd Howard talked to Joystiq about upcoming DLC for Skyrim at the Spike Video Game Awards where Skyrim won Game of the Year.
He says there is no timetable for their planned multiple DLC but that “They won’t be quick, and they’ll have a lot of meat on them.” He also said it will be focused on “ways to make the game better, not just have more, because the game is so big. So we’re going through ideas right now, and processing everything people are doing in the game, and trying to think of ways that we can improve it.”
He also mentioned the idea of one day developing a multiplayer title or MMO but that their heart is still in the single player experience and that they wont sacrifice anything from the single player experience just to put in a multiplayer component.
