According to a report from FARS News Agency, a group of Iranian computer video game developers will soon release “Attack on Tel Aviv” in response to Battlefield 3 a computer video game made by United States publisher, Electronic Arts (EA), which depicts a US military assault on Tehran.

Minaei addresses Battlefield 3′s technical and video errors, adding that the location of the military shooter game world in Tehran is “unacceptable”.
He mentioned that Iran has sent letters to EA and bring up its protest at the latest reiteration of the Battlefield series, but no official words from the influential video game publisher has yet been heard at the time of FARS news report.
Battlefield is synonym to the gaming community with the military shooter type of game and its latest addition has featured Tehran Highway.
As to the exact reason why the Iranian video game developers choosing Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel as the venue of virtual game attack is still unknown.

I can’t wait to see what sort of garbage this state run Iranian game developer puts out! 10 bucks says it runs on a pirated American engine from the turn of the century.

Your story is garbage, EA had nothing to do with the game other than publishing. The CREATORS are DICE, and they are Scandinavian, not American…

As has been pointed out, DICE, a SWEDISH company created and produced Battlefield 3, and EA only is the publisher.
And the fact that they choose Tel Aviv isn’t that hard to understand. They feel offended that Western nations will randomly pick Middle East targets for attacks and maps in games and decided to choose Israel for its “similiar” incendiary nature.
