When people think of Pokemon games, they think of mostly traditional turn-based JRPGs that revolves around catching them all.
This latest reveal might turn away from that formula. This next game sees Nintendo collaborating with Tecmo Koei that will feature samurai warriors titled Pokémon Plus Nobunaga’s Ambition.
According to Famitsu, the game will be a ‘historical simulator’ and is an entry in Tecmo Koei’s Nobunaga Ambition series of turn-based grand strategy role-playing simulation game.
It will be set during the Sengoku feudal period in Japan.
The game will be for the Nintendo DS and is set to be released next Spring in Japan. Head on over to 4Gamer for more screens.
