The PlayStation Vita is seeing its worst week of sales since launching three weeks ago in Japan. The Vita sold only 72,479 units in its second week and only 42,648 units this week. Date is courtesy of Media Create.
In comparison, the Nintendo 3DS sold 197,952 units this week. The Vita is behind in sales to the PS3 and even the PSP.
Among the top 20 software sales, none of them were from the PS Vita library. Should Sony start to worry or are consumers just waiting for a bigger software lineup to launch?
Thanks, Andriasang.

“Should Sony start to worry or are consumers just waiting for a bigger software lineup to launch?”
No.
Sony have repeadly stated that the VITA has the strongest game line up for launch than any other console. (so not a game problem. more that it’s a phone, without a phone)
The main reason it is not selling well is Nintendo 3DS.
Another being the rediculous price.
One more factor is millions bought the PSP and were left to rot in a gameless stagnation for nearly a whole year. Then the fact that many of us bought PS3′s only to have features permanently removed. Nobody want to be ripped off.
