According to a report by Digitimes, Apple will be releasing the iPad 3 in March and the iPad 4 in October.
This new rumour comes from component makers in Taiwan.
The iPad 3 will come with a QXGA (1,536×2,048 pixels) display and longer battery life but the technology leap from the iPad 2 will not be significant and it is said that will be done with the iPad 4.
The 9.7-inch iPad 4 is expected to come with much upgraded hardware specifications and integrated applications to compete with the Android tablets and the up and coming Windows 8 tablets.
