Splash Damage, the studio that developed Brink for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360; will be announcing new games for 2012 on multiple platforms which includes those that are new to the studio.

Based on this statement released on their official blog, CEO Paul Wedgwood said the studio will be making significant announcements in the coming weeks and months.

Wedgwood said, “We’ll be revealing new titles – both on platforms we’ve previously visited (including the PC and the world’s leading consoles), as well as exploring spaces completely new to us.” This shouldn’t be pointing to Sony’s or Microsoft’s next gen consoles as it should mean either Nintendo’s consoles, the PS Vita or mobile phones.

We shouldn’t need to wait long for more updates on this and hopefully their next endeavour will be better than Brink which was disappointing.
