CVG has claimed that a source close to them said the third entry into the franchise will be announced by March. The game will also be set during The American Revolution.
Ubisoft did a survey a while back asking the fans where they would like the third game to be set at and among the options were “The confrontation between British colonists and native Americans during The American Revolution.”
If this proves to be true, then players would encounter important figures of that time like George Washington who happens to be in possession of an Apple of Eden.
