The South Korean electronics powerhouse will be setting up a press conference in France on March 22nd, but much to the disappointment of Samsung fans, it will not be revealing the most wanted smartphone at the moment which is Galaxy S3 at the event.
Since Samsung announced the event, there has been a lot of buzz among the media that reported the newest addition to the popular Galaxy series that would be the center of attention.
The French event, however, will focus on the company’s already-on-the-market product portfolio, a Samsung representative reported to The Next Web. Fresh reports discuss that the handset will instead be unveiled in April and released in May.
The Galaxy S III is rumored to be 7 millimeters thick, and will be sporting, for the first time, a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera, a Super AMOLED Plus display and Android’s latest offering, the 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
