It was reported yesterday that David Jaffe, the creator of the Twisted Metal series will be leaving Eat Sleep Play. He has announced that he will be founding a new studio to develop core games for next-gen consoles as well as browser-based games.
He has been tweeting quite a bit lately telling his plans for the future.
He said he will be with Eat Sleep Play until Twisted Metal launches and will be around to handle any balancing or bug issues which would be around 1.5-3 months.
“But I WILL be leaving to start new game studio.” he added.
He is currently talking to people about next-gen game ideas and cool stuff in browser space(action oriented, gamer centric).
It will be interesting to see what the God of War and Twisted Metal creator have up his sleeves.
