Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) is speculated to follow Google’s (NASDAQ:GOOG) path to redesign their App Store and iTunes.
It has been no question that Apple is the leader in terms of distributing digital downloads ranging from blockbuster songs to high quality apps and games, but there’s always room for improvement for the world’s biggest tech company.
Respected Apple-related publication’s journalist Mark Gurman has reported that Apple could be planning a more interactive way for users to find new application and games without having to lure into the many app review sites out there which in some way affect how Apple is doing business.
It’s true that there’s absolutely no harm with the consumers looking around for opinions, but the ratings tend to be picked by the reviewer, which mean crashes and caveats are always going unnoticed, thus many paying customers still end up wasting their cash.
Whether or not Apple’s speculated move to revamp their iTunes and App Store will be a reality this year, we do hope that they can do better than Google’s makeover on the Android Market.
