Robota: Vengeance, a world where robots and genetically modified dinosaurs battle

Robota: Vengeance is currently up on Kickstarter hoping to reach their goal of $100,000 by March 12. Its an action adventure game where players build their own custom robot and do battle against “giant enemy robots and genetically modified dinosaurs.” That dinosaur bit was not made up.

It is created by Doug Chiang, an Academy Award winner who has worked on films such as Star Wars: Episode 1 and 2 as lead designer and Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Forrest Gump as creative director during his stint with Industrial Light and Magic.

The game will be developed by independent studio SiXiTS and is to be released for the iOS and Android platforms. Check the video above if you’re interested – reminder, it has genetically modified dinosaurs – and head on over to their Kickstarter to help it get off the ground.
