Apple has sent out invitations to members of the media to their event next Wednesday, March 7, where they are expected to launch the iPad 3.
Previous versions of the iPad were also unveiled in the month of March so its definitely a safe bet that they will continue the trend.
The invitation read “We have something you really have to see. And touch,” and no other details were presented.
The photo shows a small part of an iPad screen with a finger touching the Calendar app which is set to March 7. What’s interesting with the picture though is the missing physical home button, if the picture is of the iPad 3; this means it will not sport the home button in this version of the tablet.
Some bloggers have also said that it has a higher resolution screen compared to previous versions. Details such as pricing and specifications will probably be shared during the event.
