Sega is currently creating buzz with their upcoming re-release of Jet Set Radio in HD. The question is, what’s next?
The Dreamcast had a solid library of games that fans would love to revisit. Among all of them, the one that players would love to see would definitely be Shenmue and it looks like we might be getting it.
Speaking with GameReactor at GDC, Sega’s Associate Brand Manager Ben Harborne responded to questions regarding what was the most requested games fans wanted to see re-released saying, “I can tell you what’ll be: Shenmue. That, and Skies of Arcadia.”
“They’re a couple of our most requested games. I can’t say ‘yes’ or ‘no’, but we may be working on them.” he added.
So there you have it folks, Sega is giving us a maybe; but if they want us to throw our money at them then they should listen to us. Make it happen Sega.
