While Apple retail stores will put the all-new iPad 3 up for sale at 8.00 A.M (US Time Zone), Wal-Mart says they can do 8 hours better than Apple Stores.
The retail giant will be opening the sale for iPad 3 buyers at 12.01 A.M, 8 hours before Apple would. The sale would be up on all 24-hour Wal-Mart stores. According to Sarah Spencer, Wal-Mart spokesperson, the stock for the sale is “limited” and the availability of all varieties of iPad 3(varying in storage capacity) will be different from store to store.
The prices of all the variants of iPad 3 are not yet out, but Wal-Mart quoted prices of one of the models. The 16 GB Wi-Fi models will be available in both, black and white, at $499.
Wal-Mart stores that do not run 24 hours will open the sale of iPad 3 during their normal working hours.
