Beenox hopes that players will feel like Spidey in their upcoming web-slinging game, The Amazing Spider-Man. Remember the movie’s teaser trailer that was shot in first person view? (which also closely resembled Mirror’s Edge), well now it seems Beenox has added that feature into the game, calling it Web Rush.
You can choose a spot in the environment and with a hit of a button, the view will be changed to a first person perspective and Spidey will head to the chosen spot in a parkour style sequence.
The game releases on June 26 and is shaping up to be a much better representation of Peter Parker’s alter ego than the last two Spidey games that were released.
Thanks, Joystiq.
