Some may think that Android OS can replace desktop PC but not for the others. The answer is “yes” from Motorola with their Droid RAZR which expected to see a software updates to Android 4.0 as early as next week in delivering new Webtop experience. Previously Motorola has demonstrate their Webtop software by plugin into a smart dock that launched a custom Linux desktop that featured Firefox for as the browser, which turned out to be disappointment for others. For this coming updates we will have a different thoughts since then, which a leaked copy of Android 4.0 update for Droid RAZR reveals a new “Webtop 3.0 beta” with limited Linux desktop but full tablet UI when docked to a larger display. We can say that the functionality similar to ASUS Padfone but of course hoping Motorola will add this feature to all their high-end Android devices. For more details, head to video below:
