When Facebook announced their intention to go public, everyone has been nothing but skeptical about the whole social networking thing business and bubbly words has been mentioned repeatedly.

Still, i believe great future is ahead of Mark Zuckerberg and co. and here’s why.

Facebook’s core business is better than Google

That’s a fact. Everyone has been pouring their data to the bluebook and it’s fast becoming advertisers’ goldbook as easier now for Mr. John to target married couples for his event planning business when announcing marriage online is the norm nowadays.

And why it is better than Google’s $200 billion business? Well, mostly because advertisers has the ability to identify Facebook users effectively than Google searchers. Picks such as gender, age and their recent social activity are usually more lucrative than the keywords they typed.

Google’s powerful weapon has become social

That’s why Google +1 has been introduced and the massive changes in privacy to all Google products are testament to the company’s worrying nature of Facebook’s incoming IPO.

With the amount of money that can be raised, there has been no shortage of ideas of what Facebook could implement to rival Google alikes. Not to mention that it has becoming a place of all sort of social entertainment, ranging from playing games to watching movies.

Now that there are reports of NASDAQ as Facebook’s $FB home, we’ll see how it turns out.
