Google Shows Off Project Glasses

Google are designing a device that is straight out of some kind of science fiction story. The project out of Google X is a pair of glasses that allow you to pretty much wear Google on your face and allow Google access to everything you see and do.

The idea is called ‘Project Glass’, and according to a Google+ post, “A group of us from Google[x] started Project Glass to build this kind of technology, one that helps you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment. We’re sharing this information now because we want to start a conversation and learn from your valuable input. So we took a few design photos to show what this technology could look like and created a video to demonstrate what it might enable you to do.”

But how many of us want Google or a device to be constantly reminding us of meetings, appointments, the weather, emails and the news? While it sounds like an interesting technology, Google’s glasses aren’t going to attract everyone. Most likely the only people interest will be extremely career orientated people, or nerds who are compelled to always buy the latest technologies regardless of want or need.
